Outpost 23, early and alternate versions. Unreal Tournament (Epic Games)

Outpost 23 was the first fully meshed level for the new Unreal Tournament (Epic Games). This is an early version of that level (not released). We eventually went for a brighter and slightly more colorful style which you can see here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/E2eYN

This level was a collaboration between myself, Josh Marlow and Chris Perna. Everyone did a little bit of everything but specifically the Mars-like terrain in this version was made by Josh Marlow. Meshing by Chris Perna, mesh creation and master material by Josh Marlow, meshing, lighting, atmosphere and graphical elements (decals, stains, etc) by Rick Kohler.
